Civil Engineer - Part Time (Almada, Portugal)


We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Almada, Portugal! As a part-time Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the design, construction, and maintenance of various civil engineering projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, and other infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather necessary data for project planning.
- Create detailed designs and blueprints for various civil engineering projects.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project plans meet all requirements.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Conduct quality control checks on materials used in construction.
- Identify potential risks or issues during the construction process and develop solutions to address them.
- Keep accurate records of project progress, expenses, and any changes made.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of technical design principles and software such as AutoCAD.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus).
- Must be able to work part-time hours (20 hours per week).

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month.
