Instrument Technician

We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Salalah, Oman. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various types of instruments and equipment used in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical instruments and control systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and control systems
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
- Calibrate instruments according to standards and specifications
- Coordinate with other departments for instrument-related projects
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and reports
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed while performing maintenance tasks

Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Instrumentation or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of various instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, level indicators, etc.
- Familiarity with control systems such as Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills in English

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
