Junior Android Developer (Almada, Portugal)


We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Almada, Portugal. As a Junior Android Developer, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of innovative mobile applications for our clients. This is a contract position with a salary of 900$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers to design and develop user-friendly, high-performance Android applications
- Assist in the implementation of new features and functionality on existing applications
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure quality and functionality of the applications
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices for mobile development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
- Knowledge of Java programming language and experience working with Android Studio
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries such as Retrofit, Picasso, etc.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience developing Android applications (personal or professional)
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Knowledge of front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
