Head Chef
As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring high-quality food is consistently served to our customers. Your creativity and passion for food will be essential in developing new menu items and specials to keep our customers coming back. You will also manage and train kitchen staff, ensuring a cohesive team that delivers exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain menu items that are both visually appealing and delicious
- Manage inventory, ensuring all necessary ingredients are in stock
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high standards are met
- Train kitchen staff on proper techniques, recipes, and sanitation guidelines
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and serviced
- Collaborate with management to plan special events and promotions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Chef or in a similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Experience managing a team of kitchen staff
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
- Proven ability to create innovative dishes while maintaining consistency
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
