Data Analytics Specialist

As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will help drive business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and develop analytical solutions to support their objectives. This role requires someone with a strong background in data analytics and a passion for extracting meaningful information from complex datasets.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize various tools and techniques to gather, clean, and analyze large datasets
- Develop models and algorithms to identify patterns and trends in the data
- Communicate findings and insights to key stakeholders through visualizations, reports, and presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop analytical solutions
- Continuously monitor data quality and make recommendations for improvements
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data analytics techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python/R for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization
- Familiarity with statistical concepts such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, clustering etc.
- Experience working with large datasets using tools such as Hadoop or Spark
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings into simple terms for non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Preferred:
- Experience working with cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques for predictive modeling

Location: This position is located in Greenland but remote work may be considered.

Salary: $1800 per month.

Working hours: This is a full-time position.
