Moderator - Greenland



As a leading media company in Greenland, we are seeking a talented and experienced Moderator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and moderating online discussions and forums for our platforms. This is a full-time position based in Greenland.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor online discussions and forums to ensure compliance with our community guidelines
- Engage with users, respond to queries and address any issues or concerns
- Encourage positive and constructive conversations within the community
- Identify and escalate any potential issues or conflicts
- Collaborate with the content team to create engaging topics for discussion
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in online moderation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in online moderation or community management
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their moderation tools
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills

Preferred:
- Experience moderating discussions related to current events or news topics
- Fluency in Greenlandic language (both written and spoken)
- Familiarity with local culture, customs, and sensitivities

Salary: 1500$
