Job Title: Junior Preservation Architect


As a Junior Preservation Architect, you will play a vital role in preserving and restoring historical buildings and landmarks in the beautiful city of Greenland. Your main responsibility will be to assist senior architects in conducting research, creating preservation plans, and overseeing construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on historical buildings and landmarks to understand their architectural significance
- Collaborate with senior architects to develop preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and guidelines
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including drawings and specifications
- Oversee construction projects to ensure they are executed according to preservation plans
- Monitor the condition of historical buildings and recommend necessary maintenance or restoration work
- Work closely with contractors and other professionals involved in preservation projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Strong understanding of architectural history and preservation techniques
- Knowledge of local regulations and guidelines for preserving historical buildings in Greenland (or willingness to learn)
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working on preservation projects is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles for historic buildings is preferred
- Possession of a biometric passport (or willingness to obtain one) for ease of travel within Greenland
