Radio Technician


We are hiring a skilled Radio Technician to join our team in Greenland. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining radio communication systems. You will also be responsible for conducting equipment tests, performing repairs, and providing technical support.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure radio communication systems according to specifications
- Conduct equipment testing to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with radio equipment
- Perform repairs and maintenance on radio systems as needed
- Provide technical support to customers and colleagues
- Keep accurate records of work performed and equipment inventory
- Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and new technologies

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues
- Knowledge of electronic principles, circuitry, and telecommunications systems
- Familiarity with biometric passport technology is a plus
- Ability to work in remote locations and adapt to changing environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-experts
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy equipment if necessary

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1100 per month.
