Carpenter - Greenland


We are in need of a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Greenland. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Your role will also involve reading and interpreting blueprints, selecting materials, measuring and cutting materials to size, and shaping materials with hand or power tools. Additionally, you will be expected to follow safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Physically fit with good manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Own visa/work permit for Greenland (preferred)

Responsibilities:
- Study blueprints to determine materials needed and dimensions of structure or fixture
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Cut, shape, and smooth lumber using hand or power tools
- Install structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings using screws or nails
- Inspect structure/workmanship to ensure compliance with building codes/safety regulations
- Repair or replace damaged/deteriorated parts using carpentry tools
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members/clients
