Land Surveyor
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for measuring, mapping, and analyzing land areas to determine boundaries, elevations, and other features. You will use specialized tools and instruments to accurately collect data and create detailed maps and reports. Your work will play a crucial role in land development projects such as construction, infrastructure planning, and environmental conservation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys to establish property lines, boundaries, and topographical features
- Use GPS equipment and other surveying tools to measure distances, angles, elevations, and contours
- Collect data on land characteristics such as soil type, vegetation cover, and water bodies
- Create maps and reports using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to provide accurate survey information for project planning
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to land surveys
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Land Surveyor
- Proficiency in using GPS equipment and CAD software
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles and techniques
- Ability to interpret maps, plans, legal documents, and engineering drawings
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
