Head Baker

We are a well-established bakery in the heart of Copenhagen, seeking a talented and experienced Head Baker to join our team. As the Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our bakery operations, ensuring the highest quality products and exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Manage daily production of baked goods, including breads, pastries, and desserts
- Create new recipes and develop innovative menu items
- Train and supervise baking staff to maintain high standards of quality and consistency
- Ensure proper inventory management and ordering of ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery at all times
- Implement food safety regulations and maintain health code standards
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate orders for events or special occasions

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Baker in a professional setting
- Proven track record of successful leadership in a high-volume bakery environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and sanitation procedures
- Excellent time management skills
- Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with new flavors
- Must be able to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or degree in Baking or Pastry Arts
- Previous experience as a Head Baker or Bakery Manager
