Contract Game Developer (Herning, Denmark)



We are seeking a talented and experienced Game Developer to join our team on a contract basis in Herning, Denmark. As a game developer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and innovative games that will entertain and captivate our audience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality games from concept to release using Unity or other game engines
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to create fun and visually appealing gameplay experiences
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C# or other programming languages
- Optimize game performance for various platforms including mobile devices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in game development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Design or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a game developer
- Proficiency in Unity or other game engines such as Unreal Engine or CryEngine
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
- Experience with C# or other programming languages commonly used in game development
- Knowledge of mobile game development is a plus

Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions
- Attention to detail and ability to write clean, efficient code that is easy to maintain and debug
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Passion for gaming with an understanding of what makes a great game experience

This is a contract position based in Herning, Denmark for an initial period of 6 months with the possibility of extension. The salary for this role is 1200$ per month.
