Contract Interpreter (Herning, Denmark)



We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Contract Interpreter to join our team in Herning, Denmark. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services in a variety of settings. This role requires excellent communication and language skills, as well as the ability to adapt to different subject matters and environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cultural differences and be able to convey information accurately and sensitively. Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services in person or remotely for conferences, meetings, interviews, and other events
- Act as a liaison between parties who do not speak the same language
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality during interpretation
- Familiarize yourself with the subject matter of each assignment to provide the best possible interpretation
- Adapt communication style and tone depending on the cultural context
- Provide translation services when needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Translation/Interpretation or relevant field (preferred)
- Fluency in at least two languages - Danish must be one of them
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken form
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong understanding of cultural differences and sensitivity towards different cultures
- Knowledge of industry-specific terminology is an asset
