Moderator for Online Discussion Forums (Herning, Denmark)


We are in need of a skilled and experienced Moderator to join our team in Herning, Denmark. As a Moderator, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing online discussion forums on our website. This is an urgent job with a salary of 1000$. Accommodation can also be provided if needed.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and moderate online discussions by reviewing posts, comments, and messages from users
- Enforce forum rules and regulations to maintain a respectful and safe environment for all participants
- Respond to user inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
- Edit or delete inappropriate content according to company guidelines
- Collaborate with other moderators to manage forum activity and address any issues that may arise
- Keep track of user engagement and report any trends or insights to management
- Continuously monitor industry trends and stay updated on relevant topics to facilitate meaningful discussions on the forum

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred
- Prior experience as a moderator or community manager is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English (Danish language skills is a plus)
- Strong understanding of online community dynamics and social media platforms
- Ability to handle conflict resolution and diffuse tense situations effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple ongoing discussions simultaneously
- Passionate about engaging with others online and fostering positive relationships within the community
