Temporary Executive Chef in Herning, Denmark
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Executive Chef to join our team in Herning, Denmark on a temporary basis. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, including recruiting, training, and supervising staff
- Create menus and develop new dishes that reflect current food trends and meet dietary requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events or themed menus
- Conduct regular quality control checks to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is preferred
- Culinary degree or certification from a reputable institution is highly desirable
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of chefs and kitchen staff
- Creative mindset with a passion for developing innovative dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining a clean kitchen environment
Salary:
This is a temporary position with a salary of $1200 per month. Accommodation will be provided for non-local candidates.
