Hotel Sales Manager
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Herning, Denmark. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably within the hotel industry, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue for our hotel through developing relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other potential customers. You will also be responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies to attract new business. This is a part-time position that offers a competitive salary of 1100$.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other potential customers
- Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue them
- Create and implement marketing strategies to attract new business
- Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends and competitors
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the hotel
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in sales, preferably within the hotel industry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of market trends, competitors, and customer needs in the hospitality industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must have own visa or work permit
