Contract Information Technology Manager in Faroe Islands


We are currently hiring for a Contract Information Technology Manager to join our team in Faroe Islands. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company's IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring their smooth operation and security.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of all IT systems, including hardware, software, network, and security measures.
- Manage a team of IT professionals and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in technology and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify their IT needs and provide solutions.
- Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place.

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in an IT management role.
- Strong understanding of hardware, software, network, and security systems.
- Experience with biometric passport technology is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Proven track record of implementing successful IT projects on time and within budget.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in technology.

This is an urgent position that requires immediate availability. The salary for this role is 1500$ per month. Preference will be given to candidates who are already based in Faroe Islands or have a valid work permit.
