Computer Research Scientist (Part-time)


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computer Research Scientist to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Computer Research Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting research and development in the field of computer science, with a focus on biometric passport technology. This is a part-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in the field of computer science, with an emphasis on biometric passport technology
- Develop new algorithms and methods for biometric identification and authentication
- Design experiments and collect data to test the effectiveness of developed methods
- Analyze data and provide insights to improve existing methods or develop new ones
- Collaborate with other team members to integrate developed methods into existing systems
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in biometric technology and apply them to research projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; Master's or PhD preferred
- Experience working in a research environment, preferably in computer science or biometrics
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Familiarity with biometric technologies such as fingerprint recognition, facial recognition, or iris scanning
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
