Part-Time Computer Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Computer Support Specialist to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Computer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to our clients, both remotely and on-site.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support for hardware and software issues
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
- Install and configure computer systems, printers, and other peripherals
- Maintain hardware and software inventory
- Set up new user accounts and manage security settings
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex technical problems
- Document all technical procedures and solutions for future reference
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of computer systems, hardware, software, networks, and peripherals
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively under pressure
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Availability to work part-time hours on weekdays and weekends if needed

Preferred qualifications:
- A degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred but not required
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are a plus
- Prior experience in customer service or IT support is beneficial

Salary: 1200$ per month (based on experience)
Location: Faroe Islands (candidates must have legal authorization to work in Faroe Islands)
