Junior Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing team in Faroe-Islands. As a Junior Machine Learning Engineer, you will work under the guidance of experienced engineers to develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models. You will also assist with data collection, cleaning, and preparation for use in machine learning systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with minimal experience to gain hands-on experience in the exciting field of machine learning.

Responsibilities:
- Work with senior engineers to develop, test, and implement machine learning algorithms and models
- Collect, clean, and prepare data for use in machine learning systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning into existing products or develop new products based on machine learning
- Continuously research and stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in machine learning techniques and technologies
- Assist with troubleshooting and debugging of machine learning systems
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project timelines are met

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals such as regression, clustering, classification, etc.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R
- Knowledge of data manipulation tools like SQL or Pandas
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large datasets efficiently

Salary: $900 per month

Location: Faroe Islands (open to all nationalities)
