JAVA Developer (Contract) - Faroe Islands


We are in need of a skilled and experienced JAVA Developer to join our team on a contract basis in the beautiful islands of Faroe Islands. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining JAVA-based applications, as well as troubleshooting and debugging existing code. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality JAVA-based applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure project success
- Troubleshoot and debug existing code to identify and resolve issues
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure the functionality, reliability, and security of applications
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in JAVA development
- Provide technical support for internal teams as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience developing applications using JAVA
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Proficiency in popular JAVA frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
