QA Engineer (Part-Time)


We are in need of a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. You will work closely with our development team to identify and report any bugs or issues, as well as suggest improvements for our products. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of software products to identify any bugs or issues
- Create detailed test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of the product
- Collaborate with development team to understand product functionality and identify potential areas of improvement
- Report, track, and prioritize identified issues using issue tracking tools
- Work closely with developers to reproduce reported issues and verify fixes
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on potential quality risks
- Contribute to the overall quality assurance process by continuously improving testing methodologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools
- Experience with manual testing techniques for web and mobile applications
- Knowledge of issue tracking systems such as JIRA or Bugzilla is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus
Location: This position is based in Faroe Islands but remote work may be considered for the right candidate.

Salary: The salary for this part-time position is $1400 per month.
