Unity Developer

As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality, interactive games and applications for various platforms. You will work closely with the design team to create engaging user experiences and implement game mechanics. Your main duties will include coding, testing, debugging, and optimizing code to ensure smooth gameplay and performance. Strong knowledge of Unity game engine, C# programming language, and experience with 3D graphics is required. Good communication skills are also essential as you will collaborate with other team members to deliver projects on time. This is a full-time position based in Faroe-Islands with a salary of $1100 per month and accommodation provided. This is an urgent job opportunity, so we are looking for someone who can start immediately.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop interactive games and apps using Unity game engine
- Collaborate with the design team to create engaging user experiences
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C#
- Test, debug, and optimize code to ensure smooth gameplay and performance
- Implement game mechanics such as AI, physics, audio, etc.
- Work on 3D graphics including modeling, texturing, lighting, etc.
- Communicate effectively with team members to meet deadlines
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies related to game development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Unity Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Unity game engine (2D/3D), C# programming language, and object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with 3D graphics tools such as Blender or Maya
- Good understanding of AI algorithms for games (pathfinding, decision making)
- Ability to write clean, efficient code that is easy to maintain
- Familiarity with mobile development (iOS/Android) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
