Part-time Moderator

We are hiring a part-time Moderator for our online community in the Faroe Islands. As a Moderator, you will be responsible for monitoring and moderating user-generated content to ensure it complies with our community guidelines. This is a great opportunity for individuals without prior experience in moderation to gain valuable skills and contribute to a growing online community.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor user posts, comments, and messages to ensure they adhere to our community guidelines
- Respond to user inquiries and escalate issues as needed
- Collaborate with other moderators to maintain a positive and safe online environment
- Review reported content and take appropriate action based on company policies
- Stay updated on current trends and topics within the community

Requirements:
- Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of Faroese is a plus)
- Attention to detail and ability to make quick decisions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Prior experience in customer service or social media management is preferred but not required

Remuneration:
This is a part-time position with a salary of $1200 per month. Working hours are flexible, but you will be expected to work at least 20 hours per week.

Location:
This position is based in the beautiful country of Faroe Islands, but remote work may be considered for highly qualified candidates.
