Part-time Turner in Faroe Islands


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Turner to join our team on a part-time basis in Faroe Islands. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery and tools to shape and cut metal pieces for various purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate lathes, drills, grinders, and other machinery to shape and cut metal pieces according to specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the dimensions, tolerances, and materials required for each project
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries in the workplace
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or similar role in a manufacturing or production setting
- Familiarity with various machining techniques such as cutting, drilling, milling, etc.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in using precision measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Good physical stamina as the job may require standing for long periods of time
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
The salary for this part-time position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Faroe Islands. Candidates from other countries are welcome to apply but must have legal authorization to work in Faroe Islands.
