Glazier - Faroe Islands Contract Position



We are seeking an experienced Glazier to join our team on a contract basis in the beautiful Faroe Islands. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for cutting, fitting, and installing glass and other materials for various projects such as windows, doors, and other structures.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass according to specifications
- Install glass into frames using putty or other adhesives
- Secure glass in place with clamps or screws
- Replace broken or damaged glass
- Cut and install mirrors according to customer requests
- Work with a variety of materials, including tempered glass and laminated glass
- Work on both residential and commercial projects

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Glazier
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
- Strong knowledge of different types of glass and their uses
- Knowledge of safety regulations when working with glass
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1700 per month. Accommodation is not provided but we can assist with finding suitable housing. Visa sponsorship is available for non-Faroese applicants.
