Part-Time Preservation Architect
As a Part-Time Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in Faroe-Islands. Your main duties will include conducting site visits, creating preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to assess the condition of historical buildings and structures.
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the successful completion of restoration projects.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of preservation plans and project progress.
- Utilize your knowledge of historical architecture styles and techniques in the restoration process.
- Monitor project budgets and timelines to ensure efficiency.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to address any concerns or questions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in historic preservation or restoration projects.
- Knowledge of local preservation regulations and guidelines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage budgets.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
