Part-Time Accountant in Faroe Islands


We are seeking a highly skilled Part-Time Accountant to join our team in Faroe Islands. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing tax returns, and analyzing financial data to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our company's financial operations. Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Maintain accurate records of fixed assets and depreciation schedules
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Accountant
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software programs
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Faroese language is a plus)
- Must have own visa/work permit for Faroe Islands

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a competitive salary of 1200$ per month.
