Executive Chef at a Luxury Resort in Faroe Islands
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at a luxury resort in Faroe Islands. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and executing menus that showcase the best of local and international cuisine, while also ensuring high quality and consistency in all dishes. This role requires strong leadership skills, creativity, and the ability to manage a team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and unique menus that cater to the tastes of our guests
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to ensure high quality dishes are produced consistently
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety standards in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or themed dining experiences
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills to work with other departments and interact with guests
- Ability to create menus that cater to different dietary restrictions or preferences
- Biometric passport (preferred)
- Willingness to relocate without accommodation provided (preferred)
Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Faroe Islands (preference for local or European candidates)
