Restaurant Manager
As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant in Faroe-Islands. Your main duties will include managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting
- Train and supervise staff to provide excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor food quality to maintain high standards and address any issues that may arise
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new menu items and specials
- Maintain a positive working relationship with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality ingredients
- Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for improvements to enhance the overall dining experience for customers
- Prepare reports on sales, expenses, and profits for upper management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the restaurant industry
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency in English (knowledge of Faroese language is an asset)
