Instrument Technician
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instrumentation and control systems used in industrial processes. You will work with a variety of instruments, such as pressure gauges, sensors, transmitters, and controllers to ensure their proper functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install new instrumentation and control systems according to specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments and control systems
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate readings
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed on instruments
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify issues and provide solutions
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working with hazardous materials or in potentially dangerous environments
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of various types of instrumentation, control systems, and electrical circuits
- Familiarity with reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and computer software
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Salary: 1200$ per month
