Waiter/Waitress in Faroe-Islands


We are looking for an experienced and customer-oriented Waiter/Waitress to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests, taking their orders and delivering food and beverages in a timely manner. Your main goal will be to ensure an enjoyable dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers, take their orders and answer any questions they may have about the menu
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables
- Check on customers regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or complaints
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase revenue
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and accuracy of orders
- Handle payments and process transactions accurately using POS system
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, including tables, chairs, condiments, etc.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
- Assist with setting up tables, organizing seating arrangements, and restocking supplies as needed

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Waiter/Waitress or similar role in a restaurant setting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Knowledge of various alcoholic beverages and familiarity with standard drink recipes
- Basic math skills for handling payments accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid work permit or visa sponsorship for non-Faroese nationals

Salary: 1800$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Employment Type: Contract (with potential for permanent position)
