Carpenter
We are hiring a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Ashdod, Israel. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood or other materials. You will also be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, and ensuring the quality and safety of the finished product.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to plan project layout and determine materials required
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Cut, shape and smooth materials using hand or power tools such as saws, chisels, planes or sanders
- Assemble and fasten materials using nails, screws or adhesives
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings and trim according to specifications
- Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and ensure quality standards are met
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts using hand tools or power tools
- Follow all safety procedures while working on job sites

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter with knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with woodworking tools and equipment
- Good understanding of math skills including measuring angles, calculating dimensions etc.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods of time
- Excellent time management skills
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in English

Preferred:
- Prior experience working in construction or building maintenance
Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Ashdod, Israel (Preference given to applicants from Pakistan)
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
