Computer Support Specialist


A growing technology company in Faroe-Islands is seeking a skilled Computer Support Specialist to join our team. As a Computer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients with computer hardware, software, and network issues. You will also be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical problems, as well as setting up and maintaining computer systems and networks.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Install and configure computer systems and networks
- Maintain computer systems and networks by performing updates, backups, and security checks
- Train clients on how to use new computer systems or software
- Keep accurate records of all client interactions and technical issues
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex technical problems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-tech-savvy individuals
- Strong customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
- Experience with remote desktop support tools is a plus

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1600$ per month for this position.

Location:
This job is located in Faroe Islands. Relocation is not required but accommodation will not be provided.
