Part-Time Industrial Architect
As a part-time Industrial Architect, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of industrial buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and create functional and efficient designs. Your role will require a strong understanding of building codes and regulations, as well as knowledge of industrial materials and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to determine project requirements
- Design industrial buildings and structures using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Create detailed blueprints and 3D models for construction purposes
- Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations
- Review project proposals, contracts, and budgets
- Oversee construction process to ensure designs are implemented accurately
- Communicate with contractors and suppliers to address any issues or changes in design plans
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in industrial architecture or a similar role
- Strong proficiency in CAD software
- Knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations for industrial buildings
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Salary: $1500 per month (based on part-time hours)
City: Faroe Islands (remote work may be possible)
