Part-Time Mason

Are you an experienced Mason looking for a part-time job in Aarhus, Denmark? Our construction company is seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team. As a Part-Time Mason, you will be responsible for performing a variety of masonry tasks such as laying bricks, blocks, and stones to construct or repair walls, patios, fireplaces, chimneys, and other structures. You should have a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be covered with masonry materials
- Mix mortar or grout according to standard formulas
- Lay out patterns or foundations using chalk lines
- Cut or saw bricks to fit around electrical outlets and other obstacles
- Align structures vertically and horizontally using plumb bob, gauge line, and level
- Apply mortar between joints of bricks or stones using trowel
- Clean excess mortar from surface of finished brickwork
- Remove damaged bricks or stones from structure and replace with new ones
- Install firebrick linings inside industrial furnaces

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason (at least 2 years)
- Excellent knowledge of masonry techniques and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Good communication skills
- Own visa/work permit in Denmark (if not Danish national)

Salary: 1500$ per month (based on 20 hours per week)
