Baker Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Assist head baker in preparing, baking, and decorating various types of breads, pastries, and desserts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or needs
- Ensure products meet quality standards before being served or sold
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and fulfilling custom orders
- Help with packaging and labeling of baked goods for display or delivery

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen setting preferred but not required
- Knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy items, and work in a hot environment
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating quantities needed
