Hotel Sales Manager
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team at a luxury hotel in Aarhus. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue through effective marketing strategies, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase hotel bookings and revenue
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation
- Build strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential customers
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to maximize profits
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, events, and operations to ensure seamless execution of all sales initiatives
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the competition
- Train and motivate the sales team to achieve targets and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and report on performance regularly
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel sales or a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets within a competitive market
- Knowledge of hotel operations including room rates, occupancy levels, revenue management tools is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 900$ per month plus commission based on performance.
Location:
This position is located in the beautiful city of Aarhus. Candidates must have their own accommodation.
