IT Support Specialist

Our growing IT company in Aalborg is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining computer systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving technical issues with patience and efficiency
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, printers, and other peripherals
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems on desktops, laptops, servers, and mobile devices
- Diagnose network connectivity issues using remote access tools
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as updates, backups, and virus scans
- Train clients on how to use new hardware or software
- Document all support activities in a timely manner in our ticketing system

Requirements:
- Associate degree in Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in an IT support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10, 8.1), Microsoft Office Suite (Office 365), and networking concepts
- Familiarity with Active Directory
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Knowledge of Mac OS X operating system

Salary: $1000/month
