Quality Assurance Engineer



As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our software and systems meet high-quality standards. You will work closely with our development team to identify and address any issues or bugs in our products. Your role will involve creating and implementing testing processes, analyzing test results, and providing recommendations for improvements. You must have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in software testing and a solid understanding of QA methodologies. This full-time position is located in Aalborg, Denmark.

In this role, you will:

- Perform manual and automated tests on software applications
- Develop test plans and scripts based on project requirements
- Identify, record, and track bugs using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot issues
- Review code changes to ensure they meet quality standards
- Provide feedback on potential improvements to the development process
- Participate in design reviews to provide input on potential quality risks
- Communicate test results and progress reports to stakeholders
- Continuously improve testing processes and procedures

To be successful in this role, you should have:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with manual testing techniques and automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Python
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
