Android Developer

A dynamic and fast-growing tech company in Aalborg is seeking a talented Android Developer to join our team. As an Android Developer, you will work closely with our design and development teams to create innovative and user-friendly mobile applications. This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and implement new features
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices
- Continuously improve application performance and user experience
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of Java and the Android SDK
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of UI/UX principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing native Android applications from start to finish
- Familiarity with Kotlin programming language
- Knowledge of cross-platform development tools like React Native or Flutter
- Experience working with remote data via RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of software testing principles and tools such as JUnit or Espresso
