Freelance Interpreter - Aalborg, Denmark


Our international language services company is seeking a skilled and experienced Freelance Interpreter to join our team in Aalborg, Denmark. As a freelance interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services for clients in various industries. This is a contract position with the potential for ongoing work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting face-to-face and remote interpretation sessions between individuals or groups in a variety of settings, including conferences, meetings, and business negotiations
- Providing accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation between English and a target language
- Adhering to ethical and confidentiality standards at all times
- Preparing for interpretation sessions by researching terminology and familiarizing yourself with the subject matter
- Maintaining clear communication with clients to ensure their needs are met during interpretation sessions

Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and the target language (Danish preferred)
- Previous experience as an interpreter in a professional setting
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey meaning accurately between languages
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances and sensitivity when interpreting for diverse audiences
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work on short notice and adapt to changing schedules

Salary:
This is a contract position with competitive compensation of 1300 USD per month. Accommodation will also be provided.

Location:
The position is based in Aalborg, Denmark. Candidates who are already located in or near Aalborg will be given preference.
