Preservation Architect - Aalborg, Denmark


We are hiring a Preservation Architect to join our team in Aalborg, Denmark. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures. This is a contract job with a salary of 1400$, and accommodation will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analyze historical buildings and structures
- Develop plans for preservation, restoration, and reconstruction
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure projects meet preservation standards
- Monitor construction progress and maintain project documentation
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and historic preservation guidelines
- Prepare reports on project progress and budget management
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess the condition of historical structures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in preservation architecture or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of architectural history, preservation techniques, and materials used in historic buildings
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other design software
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Historic Preservation or Conservation Architecture
- Experience working on restoration projects for listed buildings or landmarks
- Knowledge of Danish architectural history and local regulations for historic preservation
