Contract Preservation Architect (Aalborg, Denmark)


We are in need of a skilled and dedicated Preservation Architect to join our team on a contract basis in Aalborg, Denmark. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring their longevity and cultural significance.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine necessary preservation work
- Developing preservation plans and strategies that adhere to local and national regulations
- Collaborating with construction teams to ensure preservation work is carried out accurately and efficiently
- Managing project budgets and timelines
- Monitoring the condition of historic buildings and structures over time and making necessary adjustments to preservation plans
- Researching historical building techniques and materials for use in preservation projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Previous experience in preservation architecture preferred but not required
- Familiarity with local and national regulations regarding historic preservation
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, construction teams, and other stakeholders
- Attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough assessments of historic structures
