Junior Librarian
As a Junior Librarian in our library located in Aalborg, Denmark, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the library. This includes helping patrons with reference inquiries, shelving and organizing books, and maintaining a clean and inviting library space. You will also have the opportunity to assist with collection development and programming for library events. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone with a passion for literature and a desire to learn more about library services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with reference inquiries and locating materials
- Shelve and organize books according to library standards
- Maintain a clean and orderly library space
- Assist with collection development by recommending new materials
- Help plan and execute programming for library events
- Provide excellent customer service to all patrons

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (Danish language skills are a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Passion for literature and knowledge of current trends in literature preferred

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Aalborg, Denmark. Candidates must have their own visa or be eligible to work in Denmark.
