Senior Level Developer - Biometric Passport Development

As a Senior Level Developer for our Biometric Passport Development team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our cutting-edge biometric passport technology. Your main responsibility will be to design, code, and test software applications that integrate with biometric hardware devices and ensure they meet the highest security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications for biometric passport technology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write efficient and high-quality code in various programming languages.
- Conduct unit testing and debugging of software applications to ensure they meet functional requirements.
- Integrate software applications with biometric hardware devices such as fingerprint scanners and facial recognition cameras.
- Implement security protocols to protect sensitive data within the biometric passport system.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in biometrics technology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a software developer, preferably in the biometrics or security industry.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience with developing applications that integrate with biometric hardware devices is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of security protocols such as PKI, SSL, or AES encryption is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
