Contract Database Administrator

A growing company in Esbjerg is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team on a contract basis. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring data integrity and security, and implementing database upgrades and improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management, experience with various database technologies, and the ability to work independently. This is an urgent job opportunity with a competitive salary of 1300$ per week.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain company databases, including backups, restores, and troubleshooting
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing proper access controls and monitoring systems
- Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for database upgrades or enhancements
- Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance
- Work with IT team to troubleshoot any technical issues related to databases
- Develop processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
- Train employees on proper database usage and best practices

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of SQL language
- Experience with various database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server
- Familiarity with ETL processes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills

Location: This is a contract job located in Esbjerg. Candidates who are already based in the city or are willing to relocate will be given preference.

Salary: The salary for this position is 1300$ per week.
