Entry-level Cashier

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer purchases, handling cash and credit card transactions, and providing excellent customer service. This is an ideal role for someone with no prior experience in the field, as we will provide on-the-job training.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with their purchases
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or other electronic devices
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Count and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills for counting money and making change accurately
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
