Executive Chef
We are in search of an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team in Esbjerg. The ideal candidate should have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes, as well as strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Create new menu items and regularly update existing menus to keep up with current food trends.
- Monitor food quality and ensure that all dishes are prepared according to company standards.
- Manage inventory and control food costs by minimizing waste.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high levels of culinary skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment in compliance with health codes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting.
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month without accommodation. Preference will be given to candidates who already have their own visa for working in Esbjerg.
