Head Pastry Chef
A renowned bakery in Esbjerg is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead our talented team in creating delectable pastries and desserts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pastry-making and a creative flair, along with strong leadership skills to manage and mentor our team of pastry chefs.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the pastry kitchen, including production, inventory management, and quality control
- Develop new pastry recipes and constantly innovate our menu offerings
- Train, supervise, and motivate the pastry team to maintain high standards of quality and productivity
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other departments to plan menus for special events or holidays
- Manage budgeting, purchasing, and cost control for the pastry department
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-volume bakery or restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Creative mind with an eye for detail to design visually appealing pastries
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team effectively
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Food safety certification is preferred
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this full-time position.
